Accept the Invitation

The Parable of the Great Banquet (Luke 14:16–24) is very similar to the Parable of the Wedding Banquet (Matthew 22:1–14). However, there are key differences.

Let’s begin with a paraphrase of the parable.

14:16 — Many invited to a great banquet.

14:17 — The servant notified invitees that the banquet was ready.
