Is the Bible a Christian Idol?

My relationship with God is much like that of a three year old to an adult. Time and time again, day in and day out, I ask God “Why?” My questions may have progressed in complexity over the years, such as “Why do people behave poorly? Why can’t communities learn from history? Why do You-God allow evils such as addiction? Why do religious people feel the need to use violence instead of love to share Your Truth?”
