Comfortable. Most Christians I meet are comfortable in their approach to God. There is often a wrong assumption that because God offers unconditional love in the form of grace through Christ that only minimal effort to know him is required. Completely forgotten is Matthew 7:21. In this verse, Christ specifically states that those who merely call on his name but who do not follow the will of God will not be saved.
