The Heart Hosts Reality

Beliefs do not define reality. Regarding the nature of reality, humans are either taught a dogmatic religious approach or subjected to the secular tricks of confusion and diversion. Without a conscious connection to the source of all, it really doesn’t matter what one believes. If creation ran according to the beliefs of humankind, it would have ended long ago — if only because human beliefs are unstable and capricious.

Both intellect and intuition can observe that there is an amazing order to the universe including the systems operating on earth. It is the personal attachments of the ego that prevent both intellect and intuition from seeing absolute laws at work within humanity.

He also said to the crowds, “When you see a cloud rising in the west, you say at once, ‘A shower is coming.’ And so it happens. And when you see the south wind blowing, you say ‘There will be scorching heat.’ And it happens.

You hypocrites! You know how to interpret the appearance of earth and sky, but why do you not know how to interpret the present time? — Luke 12:54–56

Correct interpretation of the symptoms born from the laws of creation is possible only through the heart. In humanity, only the heart touches and interprets Divine Love correctly. In the parable of the sower, Jesus notes where God’s word resides. It is not in the mind.

The ones along the path are those who have heard; then the devil comes and takes away the word from their hearts, so that they may not believe and be saved. — Luke 8:12

As for that in the good soil, they are those who, hearing the word, hold it fast in an honest and good heart, and bear fruit with patience. — Luke 8:15

The life of Christ Jesus might be considered a paradox in the fallen world where evil and confusion reign. Jesus was a physical incarnation of the love of God. Jesus in form was a representative example of Adam before the fall. Instead of making the harmful choices that Adam (and Eve) made, Jesus made divinely guided choices which came out of the wisdom of the heart. He chose the good portion of wisdom that is at odds with the nature of the world. Jesus was the anti-Adam. While Adam provided the example of wrong choices suggested by the reasonings of the intellect, Jesus showed how to live by spiritual law through following an awakened heart.

But now I am going to him who sent me, and none of you asks me, ‘Where are you going?’ But because I have said these things to you, sorrow has filled your heart. Nevertheless, I tell you the truth: it is to your advantage that I go away, for if I do not go away, the Helper will not come to you. But if I go, I will send him to you. — John 16:5–7

Being in the presence of Christ Jesus is like having the highest wisdom that is present within the heart present in fleshly form. Witness the behaviors of today’s fans for both celebrities and athletes. Their actions range from dangerous obsession to inappropriate worship. Fandom obsession provides a small glimpse of the overpowering influence of being in the presence of the Christ incarnate. Due to their fallen nature, Christ’s disciples mostly focused on his physical form and words. This worship of the body idol prevented the Holy Spirit from communicating through their own hearts. For their awakening to progress, Jesus in his bodily form had to leave them.

Regarding sending the Holy Spirit — — Peace I leave with you; my peace I give to you. Not as the world gives do I give to you. Let not your hearts be troubled, neither let them be afraid. — John 14:27

Love is the substance of God. God spoke creation into existence using Love. Love is in the breath that enlivens the human body as well as the soul. Even as Christ Jesus did not judge, so also God does not judge. The judgements and punishments described in the Bible are the result of not obeying the laws of creation. These laws are neutral even as the heart is created neutral. The willfulness of the human ego runs afoul of these laws and then blames God for outcomes or conversely praises God for “good” outcomes. Creation has been conceived from Love, by Love and for Love. Love is highest wisdom within creation and the heart is the primary instrument and manifestation of Divine Love in humanity.

No human has seen oxygen molecules with unaided eyesight. However, oxygen is essential to worldly life. Similarly, unaided by the stillness of meditation and without deep prayer, no one can see the love that permeates and sustains all of creation.

Jesus answered, “Even if I do bear witness about myself, my testimony is true, for I know where I came from and where I am going, but you do not know where I come from or where I am going. You judge according to the flesh; I judge no one. Yet even if I do judge, my judgment is true, for it is not I alone who judge, but I and the Father who sent me. — John 8:14–16

The judgment of the Father is the operation of the laws of creation which are immutable. By meditating until the body is still, by praying for wisdom to flow through an opened heart, and by remaining focused on God above all else, humanity may be redeemed from its fallen nature.

“Whoever believes in me, as the Scripture has said, ‘Out of his heart will flow rivers of living water.’” John 7:38

(Some of the Old Testament references for the above statement include Isaiah 44:3, 55:1, 58:11 and Zechariah 14:8.)

Behold, the hour is coming, indeed it has come, when you will be scattered, each to his own home, and will leave me alone. Yet I am not alone, for the Father is with me. I have said these things to you, that in me you may have peace. In the world you will have tribulation. But take heart; I have overcome the world.” — John 16:32–33

“Take heart” means to connect with and be guided by the wisdom present in the heart. The wisdom behind reality is only manifest through intuition and a clean conscience which come from the heart. The hour to reestablish the heart connection with God’s Love is now.
